Jonathan Zinman

Jonathan Zinman brings deep leadership experience and a proven ability to maximize shareholder value, with expertise in driving financial and operational transformation for companies navigating complex reorganizations.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Mr. Zinman’s background spans investment analysis focused on event-driven, process-intensive, and post-reorganization situations; board roles for companies emerging from distress; and earlier work as a restructuring lawyer. He is currently the managing member of JZ Advisors LLC (JZA), a firm that invests in and provides strategic advice to businesses and investors across a broad range of industries. Prior to founding JZA, he was a managing director at Silver Point Capital (2019–September 2024) and previously held the same role at Solus Alternative Asset Management LP (2012–2019). He also practiced law at Kirkland & Ellis (2007–2012) and served as a board observer for Endo Inc. from April 2024 to January 2025.

Mr. Zinman currently sits on the boards of Tradesmen International, LLC, Belk, Inc., MP Topco Holdings, LLC (also known as Maker’s Pride), and Azul Airlines.

Mr. Zinman earned both his Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of Michigan’s Law School and Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
