Mark Tyndall

Mark Tyndall will assume the role of Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary for the combined company at the close of the transaction. Since August 2022, Mr. Tyndall has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Mallinckrodt. Mr. Tyndall oversees all legal functions and acts as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors. His responsibilities also include leadership of the company’s Government Affairs and Patient Advocacy functions.

From February 2021 to August 2022, Mr. Tyndall served as Senior Vice President and U.S. General Counsel, overseeing U.S. and international commercial legal teams, corporate litigation and investigations, legal operations, and corporate privacy, while also managing the Government Affairs team. Prior roles at Mallinckrodt include Senior Vice President of Government Affairs & Chief Counsel of Litigation (2019–2021) and Vice President of Government Affairs, Policy and Patient Advocacy (2014–2019).

Before joining Mallinckrodt, Mr. Tyndall led Global Policy and Public Affairs for Bayer Healthcare’s consumer health division from January 2013 to June 2014. He previously practiced healthcare and political law at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, D.C., where his focus included healthcare regulatory issues, fraud and abuse matters, and legislative policy. Earlier in his career, he served as a professional staff member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.

Mr. Tyndall holds a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School, a Master’s in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Christopher Newport University. He also completed the International Human Rights Law Summer Program at the University of Oxford, New College.
